The stevedore: a professional in loading and unloading

SMART HUB Logistics was originally a stevedoring company, at the time the company was known as Spierings Stuwa Logistics. Careful and precise loading and unloading is still part of our logistics services. We see the job of a stevedore as a craft, a profession in which we have a lot of experience and know-how. We therefore give much time and attention to the professional training of our stevedores.

For the best use of container space, our stevedores prepare a loading-plan in advance. Taking weight and size of products into consideration. The stevedores’ objective is to use every cubic centimetre of the container. This does not only save costs, but it also stabilises the load during transport.
