In late 2022, SMART HUB Logistics signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dubai Global Connect (DGC). DGC is a business-to-business (B2B) sourcing ecosystem that brings together buyers, sellers, producers, processing companies, distributors and retailers under one roof to engage in trade, exchange ideas and expand their businesses internationally.
With this step, we aim to develop a trilateral logistics corridor connecting the Netherlands, East Africa, and Dubai. The overarching objective of this partnership is to provide a gateway for European customers to the Dubai market and for Dubai entrepreneurs to the European market.
Access to foreign markets
Access to foreign markets is a key focus of our partnership with DGC, as we strive to create the best possible conditions for European companies looking to export their products to Dubai. Through Dubai Global Connect, access to foreign markets becomes easier for all parties involved. At the DGC visitor center, SMART HUB Logistics presents itself with an information booth showcasing our logistics and warehousing solutions. A local sales and marketing representative is also present to personally assist visitors. Our presence at Dubai Global Connect aims to promote interaction between trade delegations and DGC visitors. We can quickly respond to their logistical needs and provide businesses with the right information.
DGC is rapidly expanding with permanent showrooms, where producers, processing companies, distributors and retailers can showcase, purchase and sell their products throughout the year.
